Situated near the centre of Glastonbury, Somerset, this self-catering holiday oasis comprises a quiet terrace of four superbly restored, two-bedroom, period artisan cottages with a walled courtyard and garden.

Our restored Victorian and Georgian cottages are the ideal place to stay when you explore the unique ambience of this small market town, the wonderful, mystical landscape of the Vale of Avalon that surrounds it, and the myriad tourist attractions of the West Country generally.

Although they are quaint and olde worlde, each property has full mod cons and parking, so your stay will be comfortable as well as convenient.

Although it is close to the town centre, the site enjoys a certain tranquillity and a walled courtyard setting with ample outside seating and a purpose-built 'al fresco' dining area.

We believe we have the best of both worlds, the peace of the countryside yet the advantage of being in the midst of all that Glastonbury offers.

Two of our cottages can be dated to the Georgian period and the other two from Victorian times. The latter were built by the owner’s great-grandmother’s brother, Jacob Marchant, in 1865 and are known as Marchant's Buildings.

Glastonbury has a unique and diverse culture, artistic, esoteric, eccentric as well a typical English market town atmosphere. Glastonbury offers a range of pubs, restaurants and attractions for people of all ages.

Hardy's (Sleeps 3)

An original Georgian cottage, home to generations of leather and sheepskin workers in Glastonbury’s mills and factories, this property is named after a family who lived here in the mid-20th Century.

Like all our cottages, it is superbly restored, has all mod coms and comes with bed linen and towels. Hardy’s has a bath and a shower. There is access to the courtyard garden and outdoor dining area. Parking is in the CCTV monitored public car-park next to the property.

Occupancy: For 2 people Rates: From £495 - 650 pw. This includes heating and lighting. There are no hidden charges. Check in 4.00 pm, check out 10.00 am.

Chapmans (Sleeps 4)

This Grade II listed Victorian cottage was built by one of the owner’s ancestors and is named after the family who lived here in the mid-20th Century.

Like all our cottages, it is superbly restored, has all mod coms and comes with bed linen and towels. Chapman’s has a bath and a shower. There is access to the courtyard garden and outdoor dining area. Parking is in the CCTV monitored public car-park next to the property.
